We do a wide range of activities from swimming and trampolining, to walks in the lakes, shopping, visiting different towns, supporting at social and after school clubs. We also support service users at home with personal care needs, cooking and learning skills to be more independent.

Yes, we provide full training before you start, some of which is online and some that is person, and then service user specific training with an experienced member of staff.

Yes, driving and having access to a car for this job is essential.

No experience is required for a carer role, for a senior carer role 12 months of care experience is essential.

Yes, we have supported several employees to complete their NVQ level 3, we also encourage staff to do level 2’s in specific areas of interest.

We have a wide range of hours to suit all availability of staff from mornings, day hours, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

Yes, that’s fine. We have service users who only want 1 day a week.

Yes, as we work with children a lot, there are always plenty of hours in the school holidays.

We do offer contracted hours.

Yes, when a service user is in your car or if you run an errand for a service user you would be paid 45p per mile.

Yes, if you are on a contract, you would always be on the same wage monthly.

This would depend on when it was completed, the relevance of the previous training and we would require proof that it has been completed.

Staff on a contract are entitled to 28 days a year.

Yes, we pay double time for Christmas day, boxing day and new year’s day, then time and a half for all other bank holidays.
